Three Kingdoms by Simon Stephens returns to London in a production inspired by German tradition, Brechtian influence and directed by Tom Hughes (National Theatre Connections). We originally proposed the 3-circles concept, however after following the process of rehearsal and collaborating with AD Tongchai O. Hansen we create the blank canvas poster, a non-defining poster, a non – suggesting but rather invitation-to-collaborate poster. We will be inviting theatre-goers to fill up the posters, draw them up, alter them, take them. As a closed-campus – limited audience campaign, the work is recognizable enough, within its non-specificity.
